How to use the one-way valve:

  • One-way valve cap (the valve lets air in and prevents it from coming out).
  • Remove the valve cap by rotating it a ¼ turn clockwise.
  • Put the end of the hose on the valve.
  • Insert the end of the hose into the valve by rotating it a ¼ turn anti-clockwise and inflate.
  • Remove the hose from the valve. Close the cap once the SPARCRIC G is inflated.
    Proceed with manoeuvring the rollers.
  • To deflate, remove the cap then press the valve plunger with the spring in its middle. Replace the cap when deflated to avoid dirtying or damaging the valve.

Idler frame maintenance operating mode

  • Place the SPARCRIC G on the conveyor frame, keep a distance of 100 mm from the idler frame in order to avoid any contact between the SPARCRIC G and the target idler frame
  • Inflate the SPARCRIC G to a pressure of approximately 0.34 bar/5 psi to access the rollers.
  • Before carrying out maintenance, check that there are no objects between the belt and the rollers.
  • Deflate and remove the SPARCRIC G.
  • Check that the rollers are in place before restarting.
